Hello Bombers,

As we approach the end of the season, the final round of Auskick is just around the corner this Sunday. I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for making this year at the Bombers truly exceptional.

First and foremost, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our players. Your unwavering dedication and hard work have truly shone, and the progress you’ve all made is something that you should be immensely proud of. From those early practice sessions to the upcoming final bounce, I have observed more marks being taken, kicks finding teammates and fitness improving and players running hard late in the game, your growth as individuals and as a team has been remarkable.

A special mention goes out to the parents and carers who have been the backbone of our club’s success. Your tireless commitment to ensuring the smooth operation of the club and providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our players is deeply appreciated. Your contributions have made football an unforgettable experience for not only our teams but also our opponents from all corners of Sydney.

This is the final week of the “Good for Footy” an initiative that has yielded remarkable results for the bombers. Together, we’ve surpassed every other AFL club in the country (with the possibility of reaching $20k by the weekend’s end). This achievement is a testament to our dedication. The funds generated will enhance our club’s facilities and resources, ensuring top-notch support for all our players.

“Good for Footy” has underscored the immense power of teamwork, both on and off the field. It emphasises the strength that arises from our united efforts. Let’s hold onto this valuable lesson and continue collaborating as a cohesive team, supporting one another and driving our club’s success in making footy an enjoyable experience for our players and their families.

Looking ahead, the Bombers are hosting two finals on August 20 and 27. If you can lend a hand for an hour or two on the BBQ or the canteen your support would be greatly appreciated.
