Dear Bombers families, 

I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for a brilliant first part of the season. The behaviour of our players and our supporters has been awesome, and we are creating a positive influence in our footy community. 

I also wanted to let you know about a couple of events that are coming up.  

Good for Footy Raffle this fundraiser helps us keep our fees as low as possible and supports extra activities around the club, such as team social events, the timekeeping and BBQ area, and covering non-budgeted activities like medic for the 2024 season.

We are also working with the AFL and Council to complete the drainage upgrade at Waratah and improve the entrance and exit off the oval  which should keep the ground open all year round. 

Nearly 10% of our players have purchased or sold tickets, please consider buying some tickets, selling some tickets to family or friends or signing up to assist at the event at Kirrawee Village. The Good for Footy event is on July 20th and 21st. The club needs to confirm our community stall on Tuesday, please sign up by Monday 15 July. Please sign up here https://docs.google.com/spread…

Term 3 All Abilities program –  A new all abilities AFL based sporting opportunity is commencing Friday 19 July for boys and girls 5-16 in our local area.  The program will be run in partnership with Miranda Bombers Junior AFL club and AFL NSW/ACT, it will over 5 Friday evenings at Waratah Oval, all the details are here https://www.playhq.com/afl/reg… 

These are great opportunities for our young players to develop their skills and have fun.
